Introduction

 Hajj is the annual Islamic pilgrimage to the holy city of Makkah, Saudi Arabia. It is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, a mandatory religious duty for all adult Muslims who are physically fit and can afford the journey at least once in their lifetime.

  The second step of Hajj, on the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah, is traveling to and staying in Mina. Pilgrims arrive at the "city of tents" near Mecca, where they rest and perform all five daily prayers (Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha, and Fajr) before proceeding to the next day's rituals at Arafat.
